Small Groups

Home Fellowships

These are groups that average about 10 people, which meeting in a home every other week to study the Word of God, have discussions about life, encourage and support one another in living as disciples of Jesus, and to build committed friendships.  An individual Home Fellowship may be made up of younger and older, single and married.  Pursuit young adult fellowship and College Age fellowship are age-specific versions of Home Fellowships.

If you would like to attend a Home Fellowship, contact Pastor Christian, christian@stonecreekchurch.com

PACE Groups

PACE Groups are small groups of  3-4 men or 3-4 women.  They are formed from the members of a Home Fellowship, ministry teams, friends or acquaintances who just want to start one.  They meet every other week for prayer, accountability, counsel on life, and encouragement.  Basically, accountability is giving an account, a report, of your life to some other believers who care about you.  We encourage PACE Group participants to give a report to each other based on four important relationships, so that we can help each other cultivate those relationships.  You can form your own group, decide to meet where and when you want (the flexibility is great).

If you would like to be part of a PACE group, here is how to get it going.  Find a couple people that you have some affinity for.  They don't have to be your best friends (that will happen over time).  Ask them if they want to meet with you to give an account of life to each other, encourage each other, pray for each other, have each other for counsel when you need it.  Set a day, time, and place to meet.  To help make the most of your time together download the PACE Help Sheet.  If you need any help, let us know.
