Scrapbuster Blitz Sewing Saturday

We are getting together on Saturday, October 5 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. for our next Sewing Saturday. For this fun event, we will be working our way through some of our donated scraps to create scrap quilt blocks. Invite a friend and join the fun as we see how many scrappy blocks we can make in a day! These kid-focused blocks will be used to make quilts for foster kids. Let's see how many we can put together by December for Christmas gifts!  Machine stations will be set up in pairs with a shared large stash of scraps to use along with cutting tables, irons, ironing boards nearby. Registration is required so we can have adequate table space and set up for sewing machines.

If you are planning on being here the entire time, bring your lunch. Please bring the following: sewing machine, scissors, pins and any other notions you often use, and creative ideas!   Optional items to bring: small cutting mat, ruler and rotary cutter. If you cannot make it to this event but would like a stash of scraps to create blocks or small quilts, please let us know.
