How to Disciple Your Children

It is our responsibility as parents to bring up our own children to maturity in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4, Deuteronomy 6:6-7). This class will help you to do that.

The people of Israel, when they were coming into the Promised Land, were told to make sure they do this with their children. But as we know, from studying Hosea, the parents had neglected to teach their children about the Lord, so those children when they grew up didn't really know the Lord. And the parents had neglected to teach their children the Lord's written word, so those children when they grew up didn't follow the Lord's ways. And we know how badly that turned out for the Israelites by Hosea's time.

In this class, we will give you specific and simple help for training your children, at each age, in the Bible and prayer, as well as how to have daily discussions that train them how to think about things, and how to do things according to God's word.

Join us Sunday, March 5 from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. (probably in room 1) for this one session, interactive seminar, lead by Pastor Christian and Anne Forseth.
