A Christ-centered Fellowship

God created you, loves you and wants a relationship with you

But in our natural state we are separated from Him

Your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you (Isaiah 59:2, Romans 6:23).

Sin separates us from Him

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." ~ Romans 3:23 (James 4:17 & 1 John 1:8)

The essence of sin is us going our own way, doing things our own way.  Rather than going with God, our creator, and the one who designed life.  So, it’s not God being cruel that separates us; rather, we separate ourselves.  We have walked away from Him.

If we want to be back with Him, He has made it easy.  We just turn to Him, and His way.

The way back to God, to get right with Him, is through God, the Son, Jesus Christ.

He loves us and took our sin on himself when He died on the cross.  By trusting in those facts and entering a relationship with Jesus we are forgiven and have eternal life with God (see John 3:16, 1 Peter 3:18, 2 Corinthians 5:21).

"For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God." ~ 1 Peter 3:18

"Christ Jesus, who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.  And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross!" ~  Philippians 2:5b-8

"When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our transgressions, having canceled the certificate of debt, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross." ~  Colossians 2:13-14

The story is not over there.  Christ rose from the dead, resurrected.  And that is good news for us.  Not only do we get to be back with Him in this life, but we get to be with Him for eternity.  We are all eternal beings and we will be resurrected.  And if we know Christ in this life, we get to be with Him in eternity.

"God raised Him from the dead, freeing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on Him." ~ Acts 2:24 (see also 1 Corinthians 15:3b-6a)

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." ~ 1 Peter 1:3

To get right with God you must trust in Jesus, the Christ, and his work on the cross as the forgiveness of your sins, and the only way to eternal life.  If you have never trusted Him for that, you can simply talk to Him now and express the desire of your heart; He can hear you.
